WHAT KIND OF SEDATION EDUCATION ARE WE PROVIDING

We aim to provide an informative day of Continuing Medical Education. Verifiable CPD will be provided mapping to categories A,B,C & D.
Lectures will cover a wide range of sedation practice specific subjects. This will include the latest guidance for provision of conscious sedation for dentistry as well as subjects concerned with the wider practice of conscious sedation. Please see the latest programme for specific details.
This event will count towards the required '12 hours of CPD in 5 years' that those who perform sedation must complete.

DOES THIS CONSTITUTE TRAINING IN SEDATION?

No. Current IACSD guidelines mandate that a 'new starter' complete an approved theoretical course and 20 mentored clinical cases. We can provide details of such theoretical courses.

IS THIS EVENT ONLY INTENDED FOR THOSE THAT ACTUALLY PROVIDE SEDATION THEN?

No, not at all! We would welcome all members of the dental team whether they sedate patients or not. If you are interested in providing sedation at your practice this would be an excellent introduction to what is required.

WHO IS THE COURSE ORGANISED BY?

The course is organised by Cotswold Sedation Training (Thomas Lees). The course is NOT affiliated with any NHS or private healthcare provider.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

  • All courses must be paid for in full at the time of the booking.

  • Courses must be booked using the booking form that can be downloaded from this website. This should be returned by email to cotswoldsedate@icloud.com. 

  • Payments to be made as per details on booking form. Please clearly identify the first attendee on the booking form as the 'payment reference'.

  • Receipt of payment & confirmation of booking will be made by email.

  • Attendees must sign-in and attend all lectures to meet verifiable CPD requirements.

  • Verifiable CPD certification will be sent by email after the event once feedback forms are received.

  • Cancellations will incur a charge of 50% of the fee if cancelled more than or equal to 31 days before the course and 100% if made less than or equal to 30 days before the course due to catering commitments with the venue.

  • Cancellations must be made by email to cotswoldsedate@icloud.com. Confirmation of cancellation will be made by email.

  • Cotswold Sedation Training reserves the right to alter the programme or speaker(s).

  • Cotswold Sedation Training reserves the right to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances.
